Login Failed because of SOAP execution right

the control is amazingly worked for some employee, and didn't for others.


i went through the code and i figure that the error because of the web service execution rights, the exception is

"SOAP Exception was Caught
 Server was unable to process request"


please help

If one of your employees is able to do something, and others aren't then I would say the problem is with rights in your  CRM environment.

I can't see what your settings, so it is pretty hard for me to say you should do this or that.


If Employee A has rights to edit Contacts > he'll be able to edit contacts with the bulk update tool.

If Employee B has no rigths to edit conacts , but has rights to edit accounts > he wont be able to edit contacts with the tool.


So then you might get exceptions like the one you indicated...


I would check the rights assigned to your users. Do they have the same roles?


Anyhow, this tool is meant to be used by Power Users, not by regular users. Regular users should use the CRM web interface.


Also check if the "User Settings" entity rights on Business Management are Read and write enabled for the User if the exception is generated on logon.
