"On Premise" login problem

I'm trying to connect the Bulk Update tool to partner-hosted CRM. In the documentation this is referred to as On Premise (although on-premise is normally associated with customer-hosted CRM with integrated Windows authenication through Active Directory, not partner-hosted CRM which uses forms-based authentication with Active Directory in the internet-facing deployment configuration).

I can connect to one of our hosted CRM platforms where the user name format is, for example, "firstname.lastname", but not on the other platform where the user name formar is, for example, "firstname.lastname#domainname.com". The error provided is a .NET error: object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any ideas?

Not really...  :-S

are you sure about the # ??? or did you mean the @ ?

If you meant @ try removing @ and everything after and place it in Domain box.

 

Is it hosted like an online environment ??? do you need to specify a partner ?

If so I'll need to change a few things in the code to make that work.
